poměrně nové, moderní obrovské vědecké muzeum - jedno z
nejpopulárnějších muzeí v Koreji (více než 10 milionů návštěvníků za
první rok existence). Dvoupatrová obří budova s 6 halami a venkovními
expozicemi (6 tématických parků). Kromě mnoha dalších expozic je zde i
velké insektárium (mimo hlavní budovu) a akvárium (v
Přírodopisné hale, část Scény života).
Insektárium je tématicky členěné na jednotlivé expozice - motýlí
zahrada, pavoučí hala, suchozemský hmyz, vodní hmyz, zážitky s hmyzem (kotaktní
insektárium - dotýkání se larev), exempláře hmyzu (preparovaný hmyz) a
dvě naučné části - poslouchání zvuků hmyzu a pozorovací stanice hmyzu s
mikroskopem.
Přírodopisná hala je členěna do 5 scén a ty dále do mnoha
tématických částí. 4 tématické části (ve Scénách života) jsou tvořeny akvárii
(ryby horních toků, ryby středních toků, ryby dolních toků a mořské
organismy Korejského poloostrova) a v některých ostatních částech je
několik dalších terárií, akvaterárií apod. (žáby, ještěrky,
bezobratlí...)
relatively new, modern giant science museum - one of the most
popular museums in Korea (more than 10 million visitors in the first
year of existence). The two-story building with 6 giant halls and
outdoor exhibitions (6 theme parks). Among many other exhibitions, there
is also a large Insectarium (outside the main building) and aquarium (in
Natural history hall, part of the Scene of life).
The Insectarium is thematically divided into individual exposures -
butterfly garden, spider hall, terrestrial insects, aquatic insects,
insect experiences (contact insectarium - touching larvae), insect
specimens (the taxidermy insects) and two educational parts - listening
to the sounds of insects and insect observation station with a
microscope.
The Natural hall is divided into 5 scenes and these further into the
many thematic sections. 4 themed sections (of the Scenes of life) are
formed by aquariums (fish of the upperstream, fish of the midstream,
fish of the downstream and marine organisms of the Korean peninsula) and
in some other parts there are several other terrariums, aquaterariums
etc. (frogs, lizards, invertebrates...) |

slávy, hala tradičních věd, přírodopisná hala) s mnoha desítkami
tématicky rozdělených výstav + expozice mimo hlavní budovu (planetárium, observatoř, geopark, ekopark, dinopark, kosmický svět...), obchod se suvenýry,
vědecké hřiště, dětská herna...
muzeum leží před Soulskou zoo
a zábavním parkem Seoul Land, nedaleko je botanická zahrada,
rozárium atd.
