katakomby Citadely Spandau jsou jedním z nejvýznamnějších
berlínských zimovišť netopýrů, to bylo důvodem zřízení stálé netopýří
expozice s obráceným dnem a nocí. Kromě divokých netopýrů večerních (Eptesicus
serotinus) jsou zde kaloni egyptští (Rousettus aegyptiacus) a
listonosi krátkoocasí (Carollia perspicillata).
Do roku 2003 (cca od 1999) provozováno spolkem Vereins Vespertilio,
tehdy byli v expozici kaloni
indičtí (Pteropus giganteus), kaloni výložkoví (Epomophorus
gambianus), upíři obecní (Desmodus rotundus) a také
tangarovití pěvci květomilové černohlaví (Chlorophanes spiza).
catacombs of Spandau Citadel is one of the most important
wintering places of bats in Berlin, it was the reason of creation of a
permanent bet exhibition with reversed day and night. In addition of
wild serotine bats (Eptesicus serotinus) there are also Egyptian
fruit bats (Rousettus aegyptiacus) and Seba's short-tailed bats (Carollia
perspicillata).
Up to 2003 (ca. since 1999) operated by Society of Vereins Vespertilio,
then in exhibition were Indian flying foxes (Pteropus giganteus),
Gambian epauletted fruit bats (Epomophorus gambianus), vampire
bats (Desmodus rotundus) and also tangara-like sonbirds green
honeycreeper (Chlorophanes pantry).
