Největší chorvatské akvárium nacházející se v Rakousko-Uherské pevnosti Verudella. Okolo 60ti nádrží - zvířata Jaderského moře, tropických moří
a evropských řek a jezer. Ryby (cca 70 druhů z Jaderského moře, cca 15
druhů z tropických moří, cca 10 evropských sladkovodních druhů a cca 30
tropických sladkovodních druhů - např. mořský koník, halančíkovec, úhoř,
muréna, piraňa, skalára, perutýn, ostenec, lezec, pilobřich, štítník,
ropušnice, očnatec, slizoun, pyskoun, hlaváč, mořčák a mnoho dalších),
paryby (cca 10 druhů - např. žralok, hladkoun, máčka, rejnok, trnucha,
parejnok, siba...) a bezobratlí (cca 5 druhů hub, cca 25 druhů žahavců,
cca 20 druhů ostnokožců - ježovky, hvězdice a sumýši, cca 5 druhů
mechovců, cca 5 druhů pláštěnců, cca 10 druhů kroužkovců, cca 30 druhů
měkkýšů - mušle, mořští plži, chroustnatky, chobotnice, sépie a sépioly,
cca, 35 druhů korýšů, ostrorepi), kareta obecná, sladkovodní želvy,
leguáni a další ještěrky.

European rivers and lakes. Fishes (ca. 70 species from Adriatic Sea, ca.
15 species of tropical seas, ca. 10 European freshwater species and ca.
30 tropical freshwater species - e.g. seahorse, killfish, eel, moray,
piranha, angelfish, lionfish, triggerfish, mudskipper, John Dory,
trigloporus, scorpionfish, goldline, blenny, wrasse, goby, seabass and
many others), cartilaginous fishes (ca. 10 species - e.g. shark,
houndshark, dogfish, ray, stingray, electric ray, bull ray...) and
invertebrates (ca. 5 species of sea sponges, ca. 25 species cnidaria,
ca. 20 species of echinoderms - sea urchins, starfish, sea cucumbers,
ca. 5 species of mass animals, ca. 5 species of sea squirts, ca. 10
species of segmented worms, ca. 30 species of molluscs - clams, marine
gastropods, chitons, octopuses, sepias, bobtail, ca. 35 species of
crustaceans, horsehoe crabs), loggerhead turtle, freshwater tortoises,
iguanas and other lizards.
Rescue centre for marine turtles - the only in Croatia.
