Situated 5 minutes from Ivato airport, the zoological and botanical park
of CROC-FARM is an oasis of a green spot, ideal for getting some fresh
air, just minutes from Antananativo capital.
Spread across 3 hectares covered by luxurious vegetation, the
private park most visited in Madagascar, where you will discover the
animal and plant species most emblematic of the red island. Our team of
guides are at your disposal for teaching you ever more about the 80 or
so animal species that make up the park. From the smallest chameleon on
earth to the Sifaka Lemurs who hop around in complete liberty in the
park, each encounter is unique, true to the image of Madagascar. To
where an aviary of parrots, a vivarium, and of course the largest
predator of the island, the Nile crocodile, all meet. In order to fully
maximize your visit the "Coco d’Ile Taverne" is equally at your disposal
in an original as well as impressive environment…
THE RESTAURANT "LA COCO D'ÎLE TAVERNE"
Within a unique setting, our restaurant, the "Coco d’Île
Taverne", is overlooking a magnificent lake surrounded by giant bamboos,
where 200 adult Nile crocodiles, measuring 3 to 5 meters, are peacefully
lounging. Nested in the centre of this exceptional environment, you can
dine comfortably and immerse yourself in a rare culinary
experience…Crocodile on the menu !
Three times a week, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, around 1pm, do not
miss watching the Nile Crocodiles’ feeding. Chills guaranteed!
