  About the Oceanarium
Oceanarium of the Entertainment Center “Duman” reveals secrets of the sea depths in the very center of steppe region.

The Oceanarium consists of the main tank – a big aquarium, on the bottom of which there is a 70 meter tunnel made of acrylic glass which is equipped with a moving track, and three large expo areas with twenty aquariums of different size. In the aquariums of the expo areas you can have a good look at certain species of ichtyofauna and get extensive information from our guides about unique fish and sea animals.

The biggest inhabitants of the main tank are sharks, with them side by side there are giant groupers, morays, urchins and other no less interesting aquatic life.

In 2006 the Oceanarium created a new expo area – “Fish of Kazakhstan”. The aim of this project is to show the visitors of the Oceanarium rich flora and fauna of the Repuclic of Kazakhstan, foster a sense of patriotism, love and pride for our country.
