zoo leží v centru města u tržnice Privoz na místě bývalého hřbitova. Předcházela jí jiná zoo v dolní zahradě Voroncova Paláce (na Přímořském bulváru). Akvaterárium, voliéry dravců, sov a dalších ptáků, výběhy s bazény pelikánů a plameňáků, sloninec (jediné odchovy slonů na Ukrajině), klece šelem (kočky, medvědi, vlci apod.), množství kopytníků (velbloudi, lamy, zebry, zubři, jeleni, skot, domácí i divocí osli, koně apod.). Specialita: vzácná zvířata jihu Ukrajiny

Zoo is located in the city centre near the "Privoz" marketplace in the site of former cemetery. It was preceded by another zoo in the lower garden of Vorontsov's Palace (on the Primorsky boulevard). Aquaterrarium, aviary of birds of prey, owls and other birds, enclosures with pools of pelicans and flamingos, elephant pavilion (the only elephants rearing in Ukraine), cage of carnivores (cats, bears, wolves etc.), the number of ungulates (camels, llamas, zebras, bison, deer, cattle, donkeys, wild asses, horses etc.). Speciality: rare animals of South Ukraine
